My Story

I bring over 25 years of award-winning experience as a print and digital art director, supported by an academic background that includes an MA in Communication and an MFA in Graphic Design. My career has spanned studio, agency, and editorial environments across lifestyle, technology, news, music, food, sports, and women’s publications. I have worked extensively in consumer, trade, alumni, and educational publishing, which has given me a deep understanding of how visual communication must adapt to different audiences, goals, and contexts.

Throughout my career, I have focused on translating complex research, data, and ideas into clear, visually compelling narratives. I strengthen brand identity through thoughtful design systems and integrated marketing approaches, ensuring that messaging, structure, and visual hierarchy work together with intention. In addition to my professional design work, I served for seven years as graphics chairperson for the Rutherford Commission on Civil Rights, contributing my skills to work that carried both civic and social significance.

I am deeply passionate about the creative process, from initial concept through final execution. I believe strong visual storytelling brings clarity, builds trust, and helps ideas resonate more powerfully with their intended audience. As a contributor in the Alignment Audit Suites, I apply disciplined creative leadership and strategic design thinking to help organizations achieve clearer alignment across brand, design, and communication.
